Maria Esther Castillo - Passenger duct-tape

News Report -- A United Airlines flight crew was forced to duct-tape an unruly passenger to her seat. Passenger Maria Esther Castillo hit a member of the crew and pulled a blind passenger's hair. Officials say when Castillo slipped out of ankle cuffs.A flight attendant and pulled a blind passengers hair before the flight crew restrained her with ankle cuffs. The disruption also forced the pilot to make an unscheduled landing in North Carolina, en route from Puerto Rico to Chicago.

Castillo allegedly became disruptive when authorities removed her from the plane. She has been charged with resisting arrest and interfering with the operations of a flight crew. Maria Esther Castillo of New York State is due in court today.

FBI agent Peter Carricato said that a passenger saw Castillo having drinks at the airport before boarding flight 645.
