Penny Pritzker, Janet Napolitano Top Choice

News Report - CNN, quoting "multiple sources," is reporting this evening that billionaire Chicago businesswoman Penny Pritzker is the top choice of president-elect Barack Obama to become his Secretary of Commerce.

Penny Pritzker, whose family founded the Hyatt hotel chain, was national finance chair of Obama's presidential campaign.

Penny Pritzker is currently chairwoman of Classic Residence by Hyatt and is listed as among the wealthiest 140 Americans with an estimated fortune of nearly $3 billion.

CNN also reported that Obama would select Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano for homeland security chief

Obama is likely to rely heavily on Axelrod for advice in pushing an agenda of healthcare reform, middle-class tax breaks and other domestic priorities, as he prepares to inherit a deepening financial crisis and a ballooning budget deficit.
