News Report - Raleigh Christmas Parade 2008
The Greater Raleigh Merchants Association will be hosting the Raleigh Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 22nd in the downtown area.[The Raleigh Telegram]
The 1.2-mile parade route starts at Hillsborough and St. Mary’s streets. The parade then travels east on Hillsborough Street, turns south at the Capitol on Salisbury Street, east on Morgan and then makes a final turn onto Fayetteville Street.[News & Observer]
Saturday dawned clear, and temperatures in the low 20s and teens promised unseasonable cold for the 61st annual WRAL-TV Raleigh Christmas Parade.[WRAL.com]
