The man who held up a general store in Vermont was more than apologetic about it.
The owner of Joe's Pond Country Store in West Danville said the young man who held him up at knifepoint this week told him, "I'm very sorry I have to do this."[FOXNews]

The Vermont State Police are searching for a man who robbed a general store at gunpoint and kicked a baby on his way out.
The man reportedly entered the East Calais General Store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk offered no resistance and handed the suspect an undisclosed sum of money, police said.[BurlingtonFreePress.com]

Darci Herdling was working at her families store on Vermont Route 14 Thursday night when a man in a ski mask came in and demanded money. Herdling wasn't alone in the store; she had her baby with her.[Fox44 News]

State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Joe's Country Store on Wednesday evening.According to Sgt. Jacob P. Zorn, at approximately 7 p.m., a man entered the store, located at the junction of U.S. routes 2 and 15 in West Danville, and brandished a knife. Zorn said the suspect demanded the store clerk "hand over all the money."[Barre Montpelier Times Argus]
