The owner of Joe's Pond Country Store in West Danville said the young man who held him up at knifepoint this week told him, "I'm very sorry I have to do this."[FOXNews]

The Vermont State Police are searching for a man who robbed a general store at gunpoint and kicked a baby on his way out.
The man reportedly entered the East Calais General Store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk offered no resistance and handed the suspect an undisclosed sum of money, police said.[BurlingtonFreePress.com]

State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Joe's Country Store on Wednesday evening.According to Sgt. Jacob P. Zorn, at approximately 7 p.m., a man entered the store, located at the junction of U.S. routes 2 and 15 in West Danville, and brandished a knife.
